Call for 2010-2011 Faculty
Georgia HFMA ( www.georgiahfma.org) is one of the leading Chapters within the National HFMA organization, and it is in large part due to the excellent and timely educational opportunities offered at cost-effective prices whether at our quarterly Institutes, many Forums Workshops or through the Advanced CPAR Program. We continually strive to meet and exceed the educational needs of our membership, and to that end, during the 2004-05 year the Board decided to implement an annual “Call for Faculty” similar to National HFMA’s annual ANI faculty proposal process. This decision was based in large part due to the many, many members and sponsors who wish to serve in a faculty role and the limited slots available, as well as the need to coordinate the education offered at the different venues so as to minimize duplication of topics and ensure viable education is being offered to our membership not only at the Institutes, but at the Forums Workshops and through the Advanced CPAR Program.

This will be your 2009-10 annual opportunity to indicate your interest in serving as faculty at any of the educational events for the upcoming year, June 1, 2010 – May 31, 2011.
Please note that it is important to complete and return the attached form by May 31 st as we will continue our planning for the 2010 - 2011 education events will begin during May 2010. Otherwise, future consideration as a faculty member cannot be guaranteed. Provider members willing to present case studies and other “how to” sessions based on successes at their organizations are strongly encouraged to submit a form, as these types of sessions are of much interest and demand. In addition, we are asking that anyone interested in speaking at one of the four quarterly Institutes also agree to speak at a Forums Workshop or at the Advanced CPAR Program. Persons agreeing to do so will be given stronger consideration than those not willing to do so, as this helps us to fill the membership needs most effectively.
Further, we will continue provide priority consideration to our Corporate Sponsors for faculty, so if you are not currently a part of our Corporate Sponsor Program (CSP). If you are interested in becoming a sponsor, visit the following link for more information http://www.georgiahfma.org/HFMASponsors/CorpSponsors.asp.
After receipt of the completed forms, all information will be compiled and distributed to the different Committee Chairs responsible for scheduling the various education opportunities. Should your topic be of interest, you will then be contacted by the appropriate Committee Chair(s) to facilitate the scheduling of any presentation(s).
