Ginger Anspaugh, FHFMA. is the vice President/CFO For the Georgia Hospital Association. She has been with the Georgia Hospital Association since 1983. Prior to joining HFMA, Ginger worked in the Kennestone Regional Healthcare System. Ginger received a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Kennesaw College in 1983. An active member of the Georgia Chapter she served as President, President-elect, Secretary, Treasurer and board member of HFMA. She has chaired numerous councils and committees and served as the Chapter Statistical Secretary. She received the Follmer Bronze Award in 1989, the Reeves Silver in 1992, the Muncie Gold in 1994 and the Ann P Longshore Distinguished Service Award in 1992. Ginger is currently serving as Past President of HFMA.

Tim Beatty currently serves as the Controller, DeKalb Regional Healthcare System. Prior to joining DeKalb, Tim was Director of Reimbursement & Cost Management for Egleston Children's Health Care System. He earned his MBA from Kennesaw University in Accounting/Business Information Systems. Since joining HFMA, he has been an active member of the Georgia Chapter, serving on several committees, most recently chairing the Reimbursement and Third Party Relations Committee. Tim attained the HFMA fellow designation this past year. In addition to HFMA service, Tim served on the Medicaid Hospital Advisory Committee.

Rebecca (Becky) Black, CPA, entered the healthcare arena over 15 years ago in DeRidder, Louisiana (one of their many stops as a military family). During her career, she has served as a Staff Accountant, Internal Auditor and Director of Finance/CPO. Becky is currently the Director of Fiscal Services/Controller at Henry Medical Center in Stockbridge, Georgia, where she recently added the Patient Accounting Department to her areas of responsibility. Becky has been active here in the Georgia Chapter since 1993 where she served on teams and is currently Chairperson of the Professional Development and Certification Team. She earned a B.S. in Accounting from Florida State University and a Masters in Public Administration from Golden State University. Becky also has a special credential - she is an outstanding gymnast. Becky is a first year Board Member.

Cynthia R. DuPree, CPA. FHFMA is a partner with Draffin & Tucker LLP, in Albany Georgia. She has over twenty years experience in the health care field. An active member of HFMA since 1980, Cynthia has served on various committees, the Board of Directors and as Treasurer of the Georgia Chapter. She currently holds the position of Chapter Secretary. Cynthia received her B.A. in Accounting from Georgia College at Milledgeville. She earned the Follmer Bronze, Reeves Silver and Muncie Gold Merit Awards. She is a frequent speaker to industry groups on various health care issues. She lives with her husband, Wayne, and seventeen-year-old son Dusty in Albany, Georgia. Cindy is Secretary of HFMA.

Lee Evins has been in healthcare for over 23 years. His experience includes periodic responsibilities for Admitting, Cashiering, Central Supply Communications, Materials management, Medical Records, Patient Financial Services, and Social Work. He will complete his Masters in Health Services Administration in the winter of 1998. An active member of HFMA since the early 1980's, Lee is just completing his year as Institute Council Chairman. In previous years, Lee served as Chairman of the council on Group and Individual Effort, Chairman of the Healthcare Teaming Council, Vice Chairman of the Communications Council and has served on CPAR, Patient Financial Services, Reimbursement & Third Party Relations, and other committees. As if this doesn't keep Lee busy enough, he is an active member of his church, is the District Chairman of Explorers for the Boy Scouts of America in Richmond County, is a member of the Augusta Retail Credit Association, and is a member of the Speaker's Bureau at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Augusta, Georgia, where he is the Corporate Director of Patient Financial Services. Lee is the President-Elect of the Georgia Chapter.

Alexis (Lex) A. Klamke is Program Chairperson of the Georgia HFMA. Lex is the CFO for Newnan Hospital. He is a proven financial manager with 27 years experience in establishing and managing operations in health care organizations, and has been an HFMA member since 1977. Lex attended Texas A&M University and Georgia State University where he earned his BBA.

Deborah S. Kolb, Ph.D., has been the Executive Vice President of Jennings, Ryan & Kolb since its founding in 1995. Prior to joining the firm, Deborah served as Vice President and Manager of Consulting Services for Amherst Associates, Inc. She has more than 18 years of health care consulting experience. Deborah received her B.A. in English as a Summa Cum Laude graduate of the University of Georgia, her Masters in Business Administration and her Doctorate of Philosophy in English from the University of North Carolina. She is the recipient of the Follmer Bronze and Reeves Silver Merit Awards. She is also the author of more than a dozen publications and a frequent speaker to local and state groups on issues such as HMO/PPO contracting, affiliation options, and strategic planning.

Richard G. (Rick) Langosch, FHFMA is the CEO for Premier Behavioral Healthcare, Inc. He was previously the vice President of Finance and CFO for Anchor Hospital and Talbot Marsh Recovery Campus. He received his BA. degree in Business with a concentration in accounting from Eastern Illinois University in 1976. Rick has been a member of HFMA since 1979, servicing in the Illinois, Ohio and Virginia Chapters prior to joining the Georgia Chapter. His service to the Georgia Chapter includes chairing or co-chairing a number of committees. Rick will be chairing the Diversification/Integration Council for the chapter year 1997-98.

Thomas Y. McBride III, CPA is currently the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Gwinnett Hospital System. Prior to joining GHS, he served in various capacities at St. Joseph's Hospital in Augusta, Georgia from 1976 through 1992. Thomas received his MBA from Augusta Stare University. He is a volunteer and active member in a number of service and professional organizations. He is also a board member of the Gwinnett Boys and Girls Club, as well as a member of the Gwinnett Rotary Club. Tom is a first year Board Member.

Joseph A. Parker is the President and CEO of the Georgia Hospital Association in Marietta. Mr. Parker, who has more than 27 years experience in health care management, joined the GHA in 1978 as director of financial services and in May 1986, was named President of the association. Joe serves as president of each of the subsidiaries and chairman of the board for Allied Claims Administration. After graduating from Georgia State University in 1969 with a BBA degree in accounting and hospital administration, Joe served as the CFO of the Georgia Baptist Medical Center in Atlanta for eight years. Presently, he serves on the Regional 4 Advisory Board of the American Hospital Association (AHA), and numerous committees and task forces of the AHA. He also serves as a board member on the Georgia Chamber of Commerce, Georgia Chapter of HFMA and Georgia Partnership for Caring and is an active member of the Georgia Group Funds Association and the Georgia Providers Council.

Eddie Phillips is a Principle in the Ernst & Young Atlanta Office Tax Practice with seventeen years experience in public accounting. Eddie specializes in serving health care organizations and tax-exempt entities. Eddie is a member of the Alabama Society, Georgia Society and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is also a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association. For the last two years he served on the Board of Directors of the Georgia Chapter of HFMA. Eddie is very active in the community, having served on the Board of Directors of several non-profit organizations, including Camp Twin Lakes and the Cystic Fibrosis Camp of Georgia. Currently, he is serving as the President of The University of Alabama Atlanta Boosters Club. He is currently serving as Treasurer of the Georgia Chapter.

Margaret H. (Meg) Schley, CPA, is the CFO of Four Star Association, Inc., a consulting firm specializing in design. development, and marketing of software solutions. Prior to joining Four Star, Meg served as Senior Manager with Ernst & Young in Atlanta with the Southeastern Region Healthcare Consulting Practice. She graduated cum laude from Georgia Stare University in 1979 with a BBA in Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant. Meg joined HFMA in 1983 and has served on and chaired several councils and committees. She received the Follmer Bronze merit in 1989. The Reeves Silver Merit Award in 1995, and the Ann P Longshore Distinguished Service Award in 1994.
