Behind the Scenes at HFMA
There is someone that many of us know, but do not realize that she is one of the reasons that our newsletter has maintained its quality level over the last 12 months. No, she does not participate in Steer Wrestling and is not a demolition derby driver, but for those of us that really know her, we believe that she just might swim with the sharks.
Lisa Marchese, who works for our editor, Judy Starkey, is responsible for pulling together the many articles that need to appear on the scene at the time of every newsletter publishing "event", plus completing the many other multitude of tasks that each of us always wanted to spend our spare moments working on; and she does it with a smiling face! Somehow she finds time to do this in addition to her job at Chamberlin Edmonds, where she is the Policy and Procedures Coordinator and DFCS Programs Trainer. Since the HFMA newsletter does not seem to satisfy her editorial skills, she is also to be responsible for all of C&Es in-house publications and training materials.
We would like to thank Lisa for all of her efforts in conjunction with the Scroll production last year and hope that she continues to help us in the future.
