Don’t Miss the Education, Networking
and Fun at Hilton Head

The Summer Institute will be at Hilton Head Island again this year. It is always so successful, why change? This Institute falls into the cliché –"If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it". (This is contrary to most of our thought processes during this time of healthcare turmoil.) Mark the dates on your calendar-August 5-7, 1998. The HIMMS organization is partnering with us again. They are planning a very active agenda to supplement our sessions.

The education sessions at this Institute cover the gambit of "hot topics", such as approaching receivables processing using good customer service to managed care session to a case study of a health systems’ implementation of a Corporate Compliance Program. PFS professionals, don’t miss the introduction of the Advanced CPAR program at the PFS breakfast on Thursday morning. Due to its success in the past, a CFO panel discussion will be hosted on Friday morning. Plus, the timely topic concerning cost reports and the Balanced Budget Act will be held on Friday, following the CFO panel discussion. Just in case the beach is not enough fun, motivational humorists will be with us to add to our laughter and fellowship.

In addition to networking and learning, FUN is being planned. Along with the traditional "Low Country Buffet" comes "karaoke" with DJ entertainment. Get your singing voice ready to share with your friends. Group acts are fun, especially if your singing is limited. Be sure to get to The Hilton Resort in time to have some fun at the "Chillin’ in the Courtyard" reception. Some exciting, cool fun is planned.

Note: The hotel registration deadline is the first week of July. Don’t let it pass by without making your reservation. The number is 800-845-8001.
