Nation’s Experts to Debate Managed Care Issues

Chicago—Managed care experts throughout the county will gather in Chicago this Fall to share the latest information on healthcare network models, information systems, compliance and quality issues. The Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) will host this important event—1998 Managed Care Institute: Winning Strategies for Improving Financial Outcomes Under Managed Care, October 11-13, 1998 at the Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers.

"This conference has been the touchstone of managed care education since the early ‘90s", says HFMA President and CEO Richard L. Clarke, FHFMA. "Attendees will learn how to build their own best practices on managing Medicare risk, network models, as well as ascertain the complex issues of population-based health." Clarke continues, "In addition, participants will examine the status of the current managed care market and develop strategies for success.
