The 2001-2002 HFMA fiscal year concluded 5/31/02. In turn, all accumulated
Georgia Chapter Founders Points activity for the year has been compiled
and submitted to the national HFMA office for permanent recordkeeping.
All HFMA members have the capability of logging on to the national
HFMA website to view overall lifetime founders points (excluding
points earned during the current year). The following are instructions
to navigate to this section on the website.
1. Go to the HFMA home page at www.hfma.org,
then click on "Member Login"
2. Enter your Login Info (instructions are provided for first time
users)
3. At "HFMA Member Login Successful," click on "Membership"
then "Membership Directory"
4. Upon "Processing" completion, click on your name in
the "Profile" box
5. Scroll down to view a summary of annual Founders Point totals
With respect to the Georgia Chapter website (www.georgiahfma.org),
look out for new enhancements during the coming months. Specific
to Founders Points, plans are in development to provide Georgia
members the capability to access point totals for the current year,
thus relating an up-to-date snapshot of point totals at any given
moment. Until this convenience is established, the inquisitive and
curious may request current year point totals by sending an email
to pete.hogan@ishealthcare.com.
FAQ - How do I get credit for attending a different chapters
function?
Answer - Georgia Chapter members participating in another
chapter's activity should submit proof of attendance/participation
to the Georgia Chapter Founders Point Chairperson. For example,
if you attended the Florida Chapter Spring Institute, submit your
payment receipt for institute point credit. All events sponsored
by National HFMA (ie. ANI) are recorded by the national office and
are not to be reported by individual chapters.
