Bill Eikost has been an active member of the Georgia Chapter of HFMA since 1989. He currently serves the Georgia Chapter as President. He served as President-Elect (2009-2010) Program Chair (2008-2009), Treasurer (2007-2008), Secretary (2006-2007) and two terms on the Board of Directors. Bill was the Co-winner of the Ann P. Longshore Distinguished Service Award in 1998 and has won two Yerger Awards for outstanding performance in Education and Collaboration. He has served on and Chaired several committees with the Georgia Chapter.
For the past 20 years, Bill has worked for various outsourcing and A/R management companies in Georgia, providing accounts receivable solutions to customers throughout the Southeast and across the country. Bill is currently a Regional VP with AHC, Inc.
In his spare time, Bill enjoys traveling, golf, coaching youth sports, and spending time with his family. He and his wife Jan have been married for 20 years and live in Powder Springs, Georgia with their two boys, Zachary(14) and Avery(12) and their dog Zoe.

Karen Newton serves as Director of Third Party Reimbursement for Clinton A. Harkins, PC. Karen began her healthcare career at Candler Hospital in Savannah, Ga. She has held the position of Admission Supervisor at Northside Hospital, Manager of Patient Accounts at Crawford Long Hospital and Director of Transitional Hospital Corporation Centralized Business Office responsible for nine (9) Long Term Acute Care Facilities located in the Eastern half of the United States. Karen has been active with Georgia HFMA for 18 years serving on the Managed Care committee, Chairing the PFS and Physician Practice Management Forum and Chairing the CPAR committee. Karen served as the Georgia Chapter Treasurer and currently is Program Chair. Karen is the recipient of the Follmer Bronze, Reeves Silver and Muncie Gold Merit Award and the 2008 –2009 President’s Award.

Cynamin Kinard is the Patient Access Director at Gwinnett Medical Center in Lawrenceville, GA, where she has been employed for 18 years. She is a Certified Patient Accounts Representative (CPAR), and obtained her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Shorter College. She has been a member of Georgia Access Management Association (GAMA) where she served as President for two years, 2002-2004.
Cynamin has been active in Georgia HFMA serving as a Joint Chairperson for the Education and Logistics’ Committee’s (2003-2006), a Joint Chairperson for the 2007 Dixie Committee, Secretary, and as Treasurer. Cynamin has received the Ann P. Longshore Distinguished Service Award and National HFMA’s Bronze Medal of Honor Founders Award. Also, she is a recipient of the Georgia Chapter’s Charles H Anderson President’s awards (2003-2004 and 2006-2007).

Jane Gray is the Assistant VP for the Revenue Cycle at The Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon, Georgia. With 20 years of hospital financial experience, she was the Director of Internal Audit and Corporate Compliance prior to her transition to the revenue cycle in 2000. Her current responsibilities currently include Patient Access, Clinical Intake, Outpatient Coding, Revenue Management, the Central Business Office and Physician Billing & Support. An alumnus of Indiana University with a BS in Accounting, Jane is a Certified Public Accountant, is a board certified fellow through the American College of Healthcare Executives, is a Fellow of the Advisory Board Company, and a Fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association. A recipient of HFMA’s Follmer Bronze Merit Award, Jane has served on HFMA’s National Advisory Council, is currently a member of National’s Revenue Cycle KPI Task Force, and is Treasurer for the Georgia Chapter of HFMA.
A native of Hawaii, Jane has been married to Tracy Gray for 17 years and they have three children.

Director of Patient Financial Services at Emory University Hospital Midtown for more than 30 years, Roxann Arnold is enjoying a new, and now, her favorite, role. On June 24, 2010, she became the proud “GiGi” to Madison Claire, born to Roxann’s son, Jason and his wife, Allison.
Professionally, Roxann’s leadership is a real strength at Emory Midtown (511 beds), her management skills and industry knowledge often responsible for her involvement in a variety of hospital and system projects. A few of these initiatives include moving administrative and operational aspects of Emory’s outpatient infusion center into the Emory University Hospital Midtown admissions and billing system, and the Making Data Healthy team, a team that works to insure the right patient identification. Today, she is a leader on the Emory Healthcare Global Patient registration initiative (includes two hospitals and The Emory Clinic) and on the working and steering committees that will implement the new Emory Healthcare inpatient hospice service.
Roxann has been involved in HFMA for more than 25 years, and has been on, or co-chaired, numerous HFMA committees and projects. Most recently, she served on the board and was installed as HFMA secretary for 2010-2011. Roxann also serves on the Georgia Hospital Association UB 04 committee. She was named to the Woodruff Health Sciences Center’s Woodruff Leadership Academy (WLA), graduating with the class of 2008, and has earned a number of hospital and industry awards and recognitions.
After earning her undergraduate and master’s degrees at West Georgia College, Roxann was an elementary and high school teacher for seven years in the Carroll County district. She made a career change, and returned to Crawford Long Hospital’s business office where she had begun working the week after she turned 16 years old.

Carmen Sessoms, FHFMA is currently employed by McKesson in Revenue Cycle Solutions Product Management. Carmen attended Emory University and Mercer University where she received a Bachelor of Arts (1987) and Master of Business Administration (1993). Carmen also spent 2 semesters abroad in Germany and received her German Language Certificate. Prior to joining McKesson, Carmen’s healthcare experience includes physician practice management, revenue cycle management within large healthcare organizations and consulting. She is also an advanced member of HFMA and the Revenue Cycle Forum. In addition she has served Georgia HFMA in several chairperson positions from Professional Development, Newsletter to CPAR. Carmen has served on the Board since 2002 and is currently President. Additional contributions include articles in the GA Scroll and as faculty at many Institutes. Carmen has received national recognition by achieving Certified Healthcare Financial Professional; Fellow HFMA; recipient of 3 Helen M. Yerger Awards; Follmer Bronze Merit; Silver Reeves Merit; Muncie Gold Merit; Gold Award of Excellence For Education; and the Medal of Honor. Recognitions in the Georgia Chapter include: CPAR; Advanced CPAR; runner up Sister Rose Margaret Schweers Most Valuable Member; two time recipient of Charles H. Anderson President’s Award; and Ann P. Longshore Distinguished Service Award. Carmen also serves on the Kappa Kappa Gamma (KKG) Atlanta Alumnae Association board and reviews KKG Foundation scholarship applications. She lives in Alpharetta with her husband, Jean-Claude Sessoms and sons, Giovanni and Martin.
