Revenue Cycle Manager II

The Revenue Cycle Manager II Oversees team to ensure established Revenue Cycle guidelines, policies and procedures are followed in order to maintain the integrity of information utilized for scheduling, registration, coding, billing, and accurate claims submission. Provides overall support and management of assigned associates with responsibility for quality improvement activities and meeting client/customer service expectations.

  • Directs the efforts of others in the achievement of the strategic and operational objectives of the group.
  • Manages the hiring, staffing and maintaining of a diverse and effective workforce.
  • Responsible for career development/planning, performance and pay discussions of team members.
  • Acts as a professional liaison between other Revenue Cycle teams and between hospital departments. Recognizes opportunities for improvement, increased efficiency and effectiveness of current processes.
  • Ensures department productivity and quality assurance standards are met in addition to compliance with applicable state/federal regulations.
  • Responsible for development and facilitation of onsite revenue cycle training and education to ensure seamless knowledge transfer of best practices and systems procedures.

    • Counsels and motivates team members on performance.
    • Frequent contact with internal and external contacts at various leadership levels to obtain and allocate resources and complete specific phases of projects.
    • Builds cross-functional partnerships.
    • Identifies business opportunities.
  • Assumes responsibility for sales objectives.
  • Analyzes quantitative, qualitative and trend data.
    • Distills information from a variety of sources.
    • Recognizes how individual data points fit into a situation as a whole.
    • Identifies what additional data is needed.
  • Anticipates operational issues and develops preventative measures.
  • Solves problems impacting the area in a systematic and clear manner that can be understood by subordinates and colleagues.
  • Provides leadership to a department and manages staffing needs in multiple department areas or geographic locations for all hours of operation.
  • Establishes and monitors production goals of department ensuring productivity and quality assurance standards are met in addition to compliance with applicable state/federal regulations.
  • Provides guidance and direction to associates who are responsible to oversee the day-to-day operations.

Requirements:

Required Skills:
10+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience. 4+ years leadership experience.

Minimum Educational Requirements:
Undergraduate degree and 6-8 years relevant experience or Graduate degree and 4-6 years relevant experience. CPAM preferred.

Revenue Cycle Manager

Busy surgical practice in middle Georgia seeks a Revenue Cycle Manager.  The qualified candidate will have held a lead role in billing, reimbursement, revenue cycle, or patient financial services within a busy medical practice, possess familiarity with CPT (physician) coding and have experience working in a multiple-payer environment (experience with workers compensation billing is a strong plus).  This position will work closely with the physicians, Administrator, Controller, other managers and billing staff.  Competitive salary and benefits.  Qualified candidates should email resume to RevCycle@gatesmoore.com along with salary history & requirements.
