On June 24, 2019, President Trump issued an Executive Order on Healthcare Price Transparency.
The Executive Order set in motion the development on rules and guidance for providers to provide the Actual Cost a patient will pay for health care services.
Previously, providers were expected to provide List Prices, or Charge Master Pricing, to its patients.
This is a significant change that will have sweeping implications across the Country.
