This presentation will illustrate the Five (5) steps to successfully Billing Complex Claims for Hospitals which include: Billing the right Payer the first time, Knowing exactly what you are owed in Georgia, Sending bills out the correct way for complex claim payers, Setting goals and Measuring success, and How to make the call on setting up a winning Complex-Billing Team. The presentation will be conducted by three (3) representatives from EnableComp:

Ken Greene, VP Client Services, who has spent his career working in various sectors of healthcare including: Biomedical Engineering, Cardiology, Information Technology and Revenue Cycle. After starting his career as a biomedical engineer at New England Medical, Ken grew his career in sales and sales management with several prominent suppliers in each of their respective fields of healthcare. Most recently, he was part of Availity’s IDN Health System Provider division, delivering technologies and solutions for improving Patient Access workflow and Revenue Collections. Ken joined EnableComp in August 2018 serving the Southeastern US.

Jesse Larrison
, VP Managed Care, has been involved with nearly every aspect of Workers’ Compensation since 2003 and is an active thought-leader, speaker and policy adviser for the industry. After working in PPO networks at CorVel Corporation, Jesse moved into business development where he accumulated numerus sales awards by helping insurance companies and employers outsource the management of their work comp business.  Jesse eventually took a leadership position at CorVel overseeing all departments from sales, claims administration, nurse case management, medical billing and provider contracting within the state of Tennessee. He joined EnableComp to create a Managed Care department, which is now responsible for administering all State and Federal fee schedules, PPO contract management, clinical review, and regulatory management.

Jason Smartt
, Sr. Director of Complex Claims, who after graduating law school in 2007, Jason worked for a Revenue Cycle Management company as a Staff Attorney. For seven years, he represented several hospitals resolving their denied Workers Compensation, Motor Vehicle Accident, and Veteran Administration Claims. In 2014, he worked for the Hospital side as the Vendor Operations Manager for the PFS Department at Community Health Systems. Jason joined EnableComp in 2018, bringing his legal expertise to the Complex Claims Department.
